About Lisie

Lisie (very imaginatively from "Lists made easy") is a tool to create and share lists of tasks and things. It is designed to be as easy as possible to use. Therefore, you don't need even to sign up. We will just give you a secret link to any list you create, so that you can edit it and share with others. Moreover, if no one access a list for months, we will assume that it is no longer useful and we will simply delete it. This helps in protecting your privacy and keeping our systems clean.

Lisie is developed by me, Paulo Salem. It is mostly a way to exercise my Ruby on Rails skills while at the same time producing something actually useful. If enough people like this tool, I might then take its development more seriously.

Therefore, be warned...

Be warned that this is in a very early stage of development and is by no means a priority for the author (who must finish his doctoral thesis!). Therefore, it is not a stable product, might cause data loss and no guarantee is given! That said, please do use it and let me know what you think. I'll try to don't break things as much as possible.

Acknowledgements

The idea behind Lisie was actually developed together with Marcelo Hashimoto. We even built a prototype (not in Rails), but eventually we gave up that project. Lisie is a new implementation of that basic idea.

Lisie employs some icons from the Silk icon set 1.3, by Mark James.
